ARLINGTON -- Melba Jean Cowin, 80, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. Melba was born in Mansfield, Texas on November 12, 1932, the daughter of Gene Hammett and Alta Watson Hammett and was the wife of Wayne Cowin Survivors: Husband of 32 years, Wayne Cowin; sons, Eddie and Ronnie White and Mike Cowin; daughters, Vickie Kohler and Tasha Dominguez; stepdaughter, Joy Smith; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
