Mary E. Dunagan

Mary Dunagan, 99 of Mansfield, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2023 in Colorado City, Texas. Mary was born to Maude Ann and William Farris Cottongame on November 4, 1924. She was one of seven children.
Mary worked in Mansfield ISD at the high school and she was an active member in her church, Central Baptist Church of Mansfield.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Sammie Joe Dunagan; her parents William Farris and Maude Ann Cottongame; and her six siblings, Ella Hoffman, Lucille Poulter, Dorothy Hyles, Leslie Cottongame, Robert Cottongame, and Marie Chaney. Mary will be laid to rest at Dawson Cemetery in Cottongame family plot next to her sister and parents.
She leaves behind her son, Lyndon Morgan Dunagan; her brother-in-law, Gilbert Chaney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
