Mary "Lady" Culbertson

Mary Frances Culbertson, 87 of Willow Park, met her Heavenly Father on January 3, 2024. Known to those who loved her most affectionally as “Lady”. She was born to Vicie and Ambrose Barrett on September 3, 1936. She married the love of her life, Tommy Rolen Culbertson on May 6, 1955, at Bisbee Baptist Church. Together they shared 68 years of life together and only a few short months apart before they were reunited in their heavenly home.

Mary graduated high school and went to business school for 6 months before becoming a Banker at First National Bank, later Republic Bank. She worked there for 33 years before her retirement. She was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy Culbertson; her parents, Vicie and Ambrose Barrett; and brothers, Tommie Gene Barrett, Wiley Lee Barrett, and William Riley Barrett.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Ida Marcella Watson (affectionately known as Baby) and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of wonderful friends. Lady and her late husband were faithful members of Willow Park Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Willow Park Baptist Church, 777 Crown Pointe Blvd in Willow Park, Texas on Saturday January 6th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will precede the service at 10:00AM at the Church and a Committal Service will immediately follow at Mansfield Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Mansfield Texas.
