Margaret Getek

Margaret Getek went home to her loving Heavenly Father on January 6, 2021. She was 71.
Margaret was born to Simon and Wilhelmina Schwerthorffer on November 13, 1949 in Munzkirchen, Austria. Her family immigrated to Buffalo, New York in the 1950’s. In 1972 Margaret married William “Bill” Getek. They would spend the next 48 years sharing the ups and downs of life together.
Margaret was an administrative assistant to multiple project managers for Westwood Contractors. She was a parishioner at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield. Margaret enjoyed reading and being a wonderful wife and mother. She was an amazing person, full of love and kindness and was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents.
Margaret is survived by her husband Bill and her daughter, Nicole “Nikki” Hestilow.
She left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her. Her family, who miss her tremendously, will forever love her and hold her memory near and dear to their hearts.
