Loretta Gorman, 79, passed from this life on November 26, 2019 in Tyler, Texas, from a massive heart attack.
Loretta was born December 9, 1939, in Hugo, Oklahoma, and moved to Texas when she was 12 years old.
She and her husband Ken had celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary — about 35 of those in Weatherford, Texas, where she was employed by M&F/Texas Bank for 29 of those years.
While living in Weatherford, she was a member of the Lioness Club, worshipped at South Main Church of Christ, and was the self-proclaimed as “Parker County’s Biggest Willie Nelson Fan.”
The last 13 years she and husband Ken resided at Holly Lake Ranch, Texas.
Loretta, known to her close friends as Lauren, is survived by her husband Ken, daughter Dawn Haddox, grandson Ken Haddox, and sisters Betty Cope and Bernice Harrell.
Funeral arrangements are at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas, with visitation on Sunday, December 1 from 2-4 pm and the funeral service on Monday, December 2 at 10:30 am.
