Loretta Vaniman Goodfellow

Loretta Goodfellow, 78, a retired Manufacturing Engineering Specialist at Defense Contract Management Agency of Department of Defense was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord Friday, May 1, 2015, at her home in Mansfield, Texas .
Mrs. Goodfellow had been a resident of Mansfield since 1974. She retired from the government. She enjoyed being a member of various organizations, countless hours of volunteer work and spending time with her grandchildren, Hunter and Alex. Loretta made it a priority to help her family, as well as others. She was definitely more of a giver than a receiver of help. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends. Hunter and Alex will forever have a void without their “Mimi”. Loretta was a devoted lady, wife, mother, grandmother “Mimi” and friend to many.
Loretta is survived by her Daughters, Glynis Schies and husband, Bob and Kathy Johnson and husband Mike, all of Mansfield; Grandchildren: Hunter Johnson and Alexandra Schies, both of Mansfield, And a host of loving distant family members and numerous good friends.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Goodfellow, her parents, Ronald and Neoma Vaniman, and brother Jerald Vaniman.
