Lorene Wright

On January 23, 2018, Lorene Wright shed her earthy bonds to join her beloved Paul on their next adventure.

Lorene Settlemire was born March 14, 1931 in Birdseye, AR to James and Laura (nee Leslie) Settlemire. She was the youngest of 11. She married Paul Wright Jr. on her 18th birthday in 1949. She joined him in Fort Worth where he was stationed at Carswell AFB. They were married for 65 years. He passed in 2014. Also proceeding her in death was a son, Roger and a grandson, Keith Soskin.

Survivors are daughters, Paula Stewart and Brenda Soskin (Alan) and son Jim Wright; grandchildren Brad Stewart, Shelly Ratliff, Carrie Moore (Shawn), Jeff Soskin (Una), Christopher Metzger (Lieschen), and Emily Metzger. Surviving great grandchildren are Tommy Soskin, Deek Ratliff, Logan White, Karson Ratliff, Kelsey Soskin, Riley and Ricky Moore, Phoebe and Pearl Metzger, Sam and Lauren Soskin and Grayson Soskin and great great grandchildren Kenna and Keaton Ratliff. Lorene is also survived by a sister, Virginia Barrett of Cherry Valley, AR., a host of loving nieces and nephews and her Baby Flower.
