Lois Meeks

MANSFIELD -- Lois Meeks passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014.
Service: 10 a.m., Wednesday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Lois was born July 9, 1920 in Webb, the daughter of M.C. and Birdie Ann Scribner Sprinkle. She graduated from Mansfield High School in 1937. She was active in the Mansfield PTA and the Mansfield Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary. After working in retail for many years, Lois retired from Ray's Pharmacy. She was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin "Bo" Meeks and by a son, Charles.
Survivors: Children, Sandra Myers and husband, Charles, Jerry Meeks, Raymond Meeks and wife, Debra; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
