Linda Boatright

Linda Boatright, 72, of Mansfield, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Linda was born Jan. 3, 1943, to Murse and Cleo Jones in Wichita Falls. She graduated from Valley View High School. She married Bobby L. Boatright on Jan. 7, 1961. They were married for 47 years until his death in 2008. Linda earned a master's degree in education from North Texas State University and was an educator with Cedar Hill Independent School District for over 30 years. She enjoyed her years as an educator. She taught kindergarten and first grade and always enjoyed when her students would return for a visit after graduation.
Linda loved traveling with her husband Bobby. They enjoyed going on cruises and traveling to Switzerland. She loved reading, listening to country music and spending time with family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby.
Survivors include Daughters, Sherri Barnett and husband, Scott, Laura Chandler and husband, Johnny; granddaughter, Taylor Barnett; sister, Jerry Ann Whatley; many family and friends.
