Lidia Orozco Martinez, 84, of Kennedale, Texas, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023.

She was born in Santa Barbara Parral, on August 15, 1938, to Francisca Aquirre and Refugio Martinez. She was an amazing cook and devoted to her family. She had a tendency to be strong, stubborn and was very independent. She was very close to her family and had a special, unique bond with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Uriel Orozco. She is survived by her sons Miguel Orozco Martinez, Jose Orozco, Geraldo. She is also survived by her daughters Velia Torres, Rosaiva Martinez, Estella Lara, Patricia Orozco and Uriel Orozco. Lidia is survived by her nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Sisters Caorlina, Socorro, Guadalupe, Carmen, Maria Luisa Martinez, Serna, Gamboa and Fiores, as well as Casarez, Delores and Tena and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nació en Santa Bárbara Parral, el 15 de agosto de 1938, hija de Francisca Aquirre y Refugio Martínez. Era una cocinera increíble y dedicada a su familia. Tenía tendencia a ser fuerte, testaruda y muy independiente. Estaba muy unida a su familia y tenía un vínculo especial y único con sus hermanas.
