Leonor Martinez, 73, passed away Friday July 11, 2014 in her home in the company of her family.
Leonor was born in Big Wells, Texas on January 24, 1941, the daughter of Benito Talamantes and Mercedes Garcia Talamantes. She married Alfredo P. Martinez in Big Wells on December 21. 1963. Leonor was a longtime member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Alfredo Martinez; son, Alfredo Martinez Jr.; daughters, Kendi Martinez and Bobbi Moncada and husband Abel; grandchildren, Adam and Melia Moncada, Ashley Niles and husband Kris, Kevin and Kyle Martinez and Kolin Martinez-Hill; great grandchildren, Addison, Brooklyn and Korbin Niles; brother, Arturo Talamantes; sisters, Alicia Ceniseros and Linda Pulido.
