Lee Dalton Livingston, born on August 23, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, departed this life on November 13, 2024, in Mansfield, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Lee graduated from Burbank High School in San Antonio, TX and later earned a Bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University. Lee's commitment to education laid a strong foundation for a life marked by achievement. He was proud to serve his country, in the US Navy and later retiring from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant. Lee also retired from Civil Service with the Department of Homeland Security, exemplifying a spirit of duty and honor. Following his military career, Lee flourished as a real estate broker, a testament to his belief in community and connection.

Lee cherished his family above all. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Claudia Livingston, and his devoted children: Terri Karafin and husband Bob, Jeff Livingston and wife Bo, Scott Livingston and wife Jessica Hall-Livingston, and Marsha Quarles and husband David. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy; he is remembered fondly by his grandchildren: Gary, Tristan, Cameron, Mason, Jordan, Nick, Emily, Apryl, and David, along with his seven great-grandchildren, who filled his heart with pride and happiness. Lee is also survived by his sister, Penny Elliot. 

Among his proudest accomplishments was his involvement with the Knights of Columbus, where he found camaraderie and purpose. Lee had a passion for playing golf, often enjoying the links with family and friends.

Lee joins in eternal peace his cherished parents, Herschel and Dorothy Livingston, and his sister, Marion Livingston Fischer, as well as his granddaughter, Emily Karafin.

A visitation will be held on November 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. A Mass in celebration of his life will follow at St. Jude Catholic Church on November 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

Lee Dalton Livingston’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, whose lives he touched with kindness, wisdom, and immense love. He will be forever remembered as a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to St. Jude Catholic Church Building Fund.
