Memorial services for Laura Lee Tate, age 68, of Keller, TX will be conducted
Friday, February 11th, 2022 at 2 pm at Blessings Funeral Home in Mansfield,
TX.

Laura passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 in Ft. Worth, TX. Laura
was born on December 12th, 1953 in Parsons, Kansas, the daughter of Clifford
Delmas Horn and Norma Lee Deatherage Horn. She married Gerry “David” Tate
on December 22nd 1973, in Waxahachie, TX. Laura was a homemaker who loved
her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her
son Jesse Tate and wife Tabitha of Arlington, TX, and daughter Kellina Hall and
husband Tommy of Ben Wheeler, TX. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren
and 2 great- grandchildren, brothers Reggie Horn and wife Katie and Kevin Horn
and wife Fabiola. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren
Christopher Hall, Sarah Hall, and Noah Hall, and several unborn grandchildren
that she also deeply cherished. Laura was well known as a heartfelt prayer warrior,
who wouldn’t hesitate to spiritually battle on behalf of those she loved. She was a
dedicated poetry writer and had several children’s stories in progress. She was a
friend to many and deeply loved by her entire extended family.

Laura was an avid horse lover and owner, and spent several years volunteering for
a local horse rescue. In honor of her dedication to her beloved horses, we are
asking for memorial gifts to be made in the name of LAURA TATE to Colby’s
