Laura Juanita Patton

October 6, 1940 — April 11, 2018

Laura Juanita Patton, 77, of Mansfield, Texas left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on April 11, 2018. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 16th from 6 PM to 8 PM at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, April 17th at 2 PM also at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. Internment will be at Skyvue Cemetery in Mansfield, Texas.
We lost one of the best mothers and grandmothers that ever walked on this earth. She cannot be replaced, but we are confident that we will see her again. Juanita was loving, kind, full of grace and selfless. She will always be carried in the hearts of her family members and friends. We find comfort in knowing that she followed her Savior, Christ Jesus, her entire life and is now home with Him.
The family would like to thank New Hope Hospice and all that took good care of her during this journey.
Laura Juanita Patton was born in Runnels, Texas on October 6, 1940 to JR and Irene Thomasson. She married her husband, Eugene Patton, on August 23, 1958. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, JR and Irene Thomasson, her sister, Juanda Flories, and many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 60 years, Audie Eugene Patton.
She is also survived by her daughters: Gina Riggan and son-in-law Jerry of Lubbock, Donna Crose and son-in- law Sid of Arlington, Amy King and son-in-law Greg of Edmond, Ok, and Becky Patton of Mansfield.
Juanita is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Greg Riggan and wife Courtney of Lubbock, Tobin Hodges and wife Jyoti of Grapevine, Jill Riggan of Lubbock, Laura Hamadi and husband Mohamed of Arlington, Carley Crose of Dallas, Kaeleigh Crose of Arlington, Josh King and wife Kailey of Edmond, OK, Daniel King and wife Katja of Oklahoma City, and Ben King of Edmond, OK.
Juanita was extra blessed and survived by 4 great grandchildren: Jude Hodges of Grapevine, Graham and Parker Riggan of Lubbock, and Cassidy Hamadi of Arlington.
Juanita is also survived by her brother in law, Perry Mack Flories, of Fort Worth whom was held very dear in her heart. And she was Aunt Nita to 3 nieces, Cindi Rossetti, Cherri Cowen and Cristi Glover.
We thank God our Father for his unending mercy and grace as we move forward in this journey until we meet again.
