December 7, 1959 — July 22, 2019

Larry Marks, 59, passed away July 22, 2019 in Dallas. Larry was born to William C. (Sr.) and Pauline (Jones) Marks on December 7, 1959 in Lima, Ohio. Larry spent his childhood as a Boy Scout, a member of “Who’s Who” from 1976-1977 and excelled in school as an Honor Roll student at Lima High School, where he graduated in 1978. He eventually furthered his education, attending Colorado State then moved to Texas, attending the University of Texas – Arlington.
A Master Mechanic by trade, Larry worked for the City of Dallas in the Equipment and Fleet Management Division for the past three years. Larry possessed a charismatic and fun-loving personality that his fellow co-workers will deeply miss.
Larry had a love for music, family and friends and referred to himself as a “Rock Hound” for the love he had for geology.
Larry met Jan in 2008 in Rowlett, and married two and a half years ago, in Dallas. Jan was truly the love of his life. She loved Larry the way he deserved to be loved and he loved her even more. A hole in Jan’s heart will never be filled but the memories gifted to her by Larry will forever be cherished.
