Ladelle Floyd Means, 82, of Kennedale, went home to be with Her Lord and Savior at 8:15 AM on August 22, 2016 in Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth, Texas.
Ladelle was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas in September 28, 1933, the daughter of Otis E. Floyd and Metta Burks Floyd. She was a retired health store salesperson and a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mansfield.
Ladelle is lovingly remembered by her Sister’s, Sue Wallace and Husband Kelly of Mansfield; Pat Elmore and Husband Ken of Kennedale; Daughter’s Brenda King Stuart and Husband Bruce of Mansfield, Paula King Pierce and Husband Michael of Roanoke, Judy King Moxon and Husband Jay of Alba; son, Billy Simpson of Kennedale; niece, Angela Willis; nephew, David Green and wife Julie of Kennedale; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Ladelle was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Metta Floyd, sister, Betty Floyd Iles and husband, Robert Eugene "Bob" Means.
In lieu of flowers, Ladelle requested that memorial donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105.
