LaDella (Della) Jane Gore, 59, of Mansfield, Texas passed away Sunday January 24th, 2021.
LaDella was born May 25th, 1961 to Clover and James W. Davis in Alamosa, Colorado. She was raised in Kennedale, Texas and attended Kennedale High School. She married her long-time sweetheart, Chris Gore, in December of 1992 and they later welcomed two sons, Hunter Gore and Colton Gore in 1993 and 1997, respectively.
LaDella was a devoted mother and dedicated much of her time supporting her boys in any way she could. She never missed a game or school event, and the amount of pride she felt for her two children was immeasurable.
LaDella enjoyed “junking” as she would call it, with her sister JoAnne, and was a skilled creator. She could turn any item into a beautiful piece of art and her eye for detail was unmatched. She had a love for music and enjoyed sharing her favorite songs with those close to her.
Della was preceded in death by her mother, Clover Bell Lawyer Davis; her brother, W.C. Dub Davis; and nephew, Ronnie James Davis. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Chris Gore; her son, Hunter Gore and spouse Kaitlyn Gore; her son, Colton Gore and significant other Kelsey Watson; her dearest sister, JoAnne Davis Taylor; brother, Willard Don Davis; and many other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
LaDella will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, January 29th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and funeral services to be held Saturday, January 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Blessing Funeral Home of Mansfield. Burial services to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. With respect to pandemic restrictions, all attendees will be required to wear a mask and maintain appropriate social distancing. Services will be available virtually for those who wish to do so.
