Kiana Barker

Kiana was born to Mildred Malveaux and Harold Barker on May 25th, 1990, in Oakland, California. Kiana departed this earthly life on June 22nd, 2022.

Kiana spent her early childhood in the San Francisco Bay area. She attended Elsa Wiedemann and Cleo Gordon Elementary. Kiana also attended Sullivan Middle School, Fairfield High School before moving to Arlington, Texas working on it finished her high school at Mansfield Summit High School class of 2008 where she met many of her close friends who became like family. She also went on to further her education at Wiley College in Marshall Texas, as well as Texas Southern University.

Kiana was a very outspoken as well as an outgoing person. She had many personalities, and her presence was definitely noticed wherever she went. Her family and friends loved her. Kiana became a mom to seven beautiful children whom she loved dearly.

In her memory, Kiana leaves to cherish her parents, Mildred and Warner Wilson and Harold and Marcia Barker. Her grandfather Frank Malveaux, Anthony Bell, the father of her sons Christian, Elijah, Mason, Zion, and Anthony Bell. Jamal Lindsey and their two daughters, Iyanna and Marley Lindsey. Kiana's siblings; Tanisha, Haroloshea, Mercedes, Harold Jr, La Jonte, LaeZhane, Dajaini, Dominique, Jasmine, and Moriah. Kiana also leaves her cousins/siblings; Dominic, Victor Jr, Aaron Jr, Aaronae Armoni, Johnnie in Victoria.Her aunts; Paula and Victor Foreman, Sonya Malveaux, Rita Malveaux, and Tanya and Andre Boyd. Her best friend Kristen Jones and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and family loved her dearly. Kiana has proceeded in death by her maternal grandmother Rita Malveaux her paternal grandmother Amanda Thompson her brother Frank Jay Wilson.

Kiana, you will be greatly missed, and we will always love you.
