Kenneth Doyle Middleton, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Funeral: 10 a.m., Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Interment: Cope Cemetery. Memorials: Community Hospice of Texas.
Kenneth was born Sept. 24, 1934 in Fort Worth to J.D. and Marie Middleton. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Kenneth was a Mason by trade until he built and opened Kenneth’s True Pit BBQ where he proudly served his customers for 35 years.
Kenneth was a kind and generous man who loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joyle; grandson, Sean Spears; and his loving wife of 56 years, Janie.
Survivors: Children, Marie Spears (Malcolm), Mark Middleton (Lita), Jane Ann McGowen (Kenneth), Michael Middleton (Janet); sister Winnie Rankey (Ronnie); 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren
