Kenneth Layne Batson

Kenneth Layne Batson, aged 80, went home to be with the Lord May 16, 2024. He was born
August 11, 1943, to Alwyn and Lucy Batson in Houston, Texas.

Kenneth graduated Milby High School and went on to receive a business degree from the
University of Houston. He worked in industrial sales for ENGY Southwest Container Products
until his retirement. He married the love of his life Connie Gunter November 14, 1964. They had
a beautiful 59 years together and shared two children. His hobbies included fishing in both fresh
and salt water.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Alwyn Batson, mother Lucy Batson, and sister LaNell
Bell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, beloved wife Connie Batson, daughter Brandi Millstid
and husband Tim, son Scott Batson, grandchildren Aubrie Millstid, Brady Millstid, and Avery
Millstid, sister Pam Rogers, and numerous extended family and friends.
