Kenna Lee Speck

Kenna Lee Speck, aged 86, went to be with the Lord September 13, 2023. Kenna was born June 2, 1937 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Zola Hostetler and William Jennings Dempsey. She met the love of her life Ronald Speck in Wellington, Kansas, on a train headed to California where his Navy Ship was awaiting. They married September 15, 1956 and had a beautiful, loving 67 years of marriage. They had four children, whom she loved dearly. She was a very loving and caring mother. She loved cooking for her family and enjoyed having get togethers with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She loved her family more than words can describe, her grandkids and great-grandkids were her absolute pride and joy. Kenna was compassionate, always caring for others. She enjoyed being outdoors, hiking and fishing in the mountains.

Kenna is preceded in death by her parents: Zola and William Dempsey, Sisters: Neila Ziegler and Margaret Trent, and brothers: Beryl and Jack Dempsey.

She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Speck of Kennedale, Tx, Children: Terri Seeton and husband Gary of Mansfield, Tx, Mark Speck and wife Becky of Arkansas City, KS, Cindy Dunning and Dean of Burleson, Tx, and Mike Speck of Grants, NM, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sister: Carolyn Osborn of Arkansas City, Kansas, and numerous extended family and friends.
