Keith McKay

Roy Keith McKay, Jr. of Mansfield, TX passed away August, 22, 2024. Keith was born on August 13, 1970 in Irving, TX to Roy and Cheryl McKay.

Keith was a loving husband, father, friend, but most of all was just a good, down to earth man. He graduated from Kennedale High School and then went on to get his license in HVAC and pursued a career in that field. Keith enjoyed time with his family and loved being a Poppy. In his pass time he also enjoyed fishing and football. He was a hardworking man of faith that never met a stranger; often becoming lifelong friends. It didn’t take much to love Keith, to know him meant you loved him.

Keith is survived by his wife Ginger McKay, children Joshua Vernon (Karely), Nathan Vernon and Kinsey McKay; mother Cheryl Huckaby, sisters Traci Verdeyen (Rob) and Linley Harvick, grandchildren Braylen McKay and Abigail Vernon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Keith has reunited with his dad, Roy Keith McKay, Sr., in his heavenly home.

Pallbearers for Keith’s service will be David Luttrell, Jimmey Nipp, Greg Harvey, Bryan Nava, John Potter and Jaime Gone.

A visitation service will be held at Blessing Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 6pm-8pm and a Celebration of Life will be held at Ignite FBC Kennedale on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at 10am.
