Kathleen "Kathy" Byars

ARLINGTON -- Kathleen Homan Byars died Nov. 5, 2013, peacefully at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Service: 10 a.m., Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
"Kathy" was born in Dayton, Ohio and relocated to Arlington with her family at the age of 12. She attended Sam Houston High School and after starting her family, worked her entire career in commercial real estate management.
All who knew Kathy loved her dearly.
Survivors: Husband, Larry Byars; five children, Cheri Paroulek and her spouse, Clint, Chasity Frazier and her spouse, Phil, Kevin Cantu and fiancé, Melissa, Brandy Byars and her spouse, Rornelius, Ryan Cantu and his spouse, Rachel; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Michael and Rocky Homan.
