Kathleen Christina Anderson

Kathleen Christina Anderson, 69, of Mansfield went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 11, 1953 – the first in her family to be in America. As a second-generation Irish woman, she grew up Irish dancing and won many medals. She worked as an auto inspector for ITS for 12 years, then with husband James at Jack Cooper Transport for 4 years.

She was married to James Anderson on July 11, 1997. James said it was so he could easily remember it, 7/11/97. They were united in marriage in Cedar Hill.

Kathleen was known for her strong Irish personality. She was a very loving grandma, mom and wife and a lifelong Beatles fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Teresa Raftery and Dennis McCarthy, Sister Anne McCarthy and grandchild Drew Murray. She is survived by her beloved husband James; Son, Eric Campbell (Kourtney); Daughters Shannon Harris, Jodie White and Jami Murray (David); grandchildren Ashley Campbell, Bailey Murray, Colton White, Brooke White, Kailey White, Kate Campbell, Ellis Campbell and Sarah Campbell, and great grandchild Tatum Murray; brother John McCarthy (Teresa), and sisters Maureen Gray (Bob), Chris McCarthy (Don), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday April 16th in the house at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm St. Mansfield, from 4:00-6:00, with service April 17th in the Blessing Chapel at 12:30. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery.
