Karen Jhoana Medrano-Marquez, 32, went to be with her Lord on January 9, 2019 in Fort Worth. Karen was born to Ana Babel Medrano Martinez on March 25, 1986 in San Miguel, El Salvador. Karen completed primary and secondary schooling in El Salvador and then furthered her education at the Instituto Nacional Isidro Menendez. Karen was from Willow Park, Texas.
Twelve years ago, Karen met Reynaldo Marquez in Monrovia, California at a Ross store that Rey worked at. Their relationship grew for the next several years to eventually a marriage that lasted three and a half years. She loved Rey and constantly reminded him of her devotion to him. A housewife and mother of two, Karen gave her heart to Rey and those dear to her, always doing all she could to make those special people around her happy. She enjoyed cooking for her family, constantly trying new and different baking recipes. Karen loved her Catholic faith. In all, Karen was a loving wife and awesome mother to her two children.
Karen is survived by her husband, Rey and mother Ana Mabel Medrano Martinez, children Garry Romero and Emma Marquez and siblings Perla Lucero Melendes Medrano and Vanessa Mabel Melendes Medrano.
