Juliette Joyce Hendel-Bahr passed away peacefully in Mansfield Texas on Friday, December 8th, surrounded by loving family.
Juliette was born December 13, 1963 in Rochester, Minnesota to Harold P. Hendel and Dorothy A. Hendel of Caledonia, Minnesota. She graduated from Caledonia Public Schools then attended The University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and The University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, graduating with a B.S. in Food Service Management.
For 18 years Julie worked for The Freeman Companies, a Tradeshow and Marketing Company in Dallas, Texas, in most recent years as a Special Projects Manager.
On June 5, 2009, Julie was united in marriage to Ronald E. Bahr of Springfield, Illinois. They lived at Red Sage Farms in Mansfield, Texas. Ron was the love of Julie’s life and a tremendous support during Julie’s illness.
Julie had a happy heart and a wonderful sense of humor; she was able to lift people’s spirits with great charm. She was accomplished in jewelry making, cooking and sewing and took pleasure in giving handmade things to others.
Julie is survived by her loving husband, Ronald E. Bahr, her Mother Dorothy Hendel of Caledonia, MN. Sisters- Annemarie (Steven) Selness of Caledonia, MN. and Elizabeth Hendel of Royce City, TX. Two Nephews, Peter Selness and Nicholas Sparks also survive her as do the extended Hendel, Bahr and Huesmann families and many dear friends.
Preceding Julie in death were her Father, Harold P. Hendel and her Brother Peter J. Hendel both of Caledonia, MN.

A visitation will take place at Blessing Funeral Chapel in Mansfield, Texas on Tuesday, December 12 from 4-7 pm
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Caledonia, Minnesota.
Father Fasnacht officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia, MN.
