Joseph E. Chapman

Joseph E. Chapman, 82, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died Friday, June 20, 2014.
Service: 11 AM Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Blessing Funeral Home with visitation from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM before the service. Burial: 1:30 PM Wednesday, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Joseph was born in E. St. Louis, Illinois on March 19, 1932, the son of John and Donna (Belden) Chapman. He served four years in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella L. (Schwartz) Chapman, son, Rocky J. Chapman, father, John E. Chapman, mother, Donna D. (Belden) Chapman, brothers, Delmar M. Chapman, Elmer E. Chapman, and Bert L. Chapman, sisters, Ellen B. Harris and Merlyn J. Bennett.
Survivors: Joseph is survived by his son, John A. Chapman; daughter, Cynthia J. Crowley and husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Michelle M. Rydgig, April L. Haller and husband Juston, Joseph A. Chapman and wife, Angel; great grandchildren, Kyle, Morgan, Ella, Olivia and John; sister, Gloria L. Hollen of Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
