ARLINGTON -- Jonathan Wayne Shahan, 30, beloved son, father, brother, grandson, and uncle, departed this life and entered one of peace on Tuesday June 2nd, 2015.
Celebration of life: 6 p.m., Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Jonathan had a profound and deep love for his sons, niece and nephew. Being a father was the single most important thing to him, he cherished his three sons more than anything else. They were the bright and shining lights in his life. Jonathan loved deeply, fiercely, and without abandon. He was an amazing family man, the heart of making things light for everyone else. From a very young age he has loved making others laugh and smile. His quick wit and sharp tongue was always something we all loved about him and will miss greatly. Jonathan was a very gifted artist, BMX rider, and was granted the amazing athletic ability to pick any sport or activity he tried. He mastered many, many talents. His love of body art was his most recent hobby, and he was a gifted tattoo artist. Please join us in a celebration of his life with a memorial service at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas, located at 401 Elm Street. Survivors: Parents, Michael and Lisa Shahan; Sons, Caleb Shahan, Adrian Shahan, & Bentley Shahan; Sister, Larissa Shahan; Niece, Elin Lopez; Nephew, Tre Lopez; Grandparents, Lewis and Gayla Merritt & Wayne and Janice Shahan; along with many, many more loving family members and friends.
