Johnny Rodgers

Johnny Rodgers born August 2, 1939 to I.T. and Essie Lee Rodgers went home May 23, 2021 at home with his family.

Mr. Rodgers was a resident of Mansfield, Texas. He retired in 2000 from WM Automotive after working in the Automotive Aftermarket for over 40 years.

Johnny loved taking care of his yard and visiting with his friend of over 30 years Paul Wagoner and his walking buddy Sonny Williams.

Johnny is survived by his Wife of 59 years Lela Rodgers, daughters and son-in-laws Pam and Craig Williamson of Fort Worth, Teresa and Robert Drake of Allen, Texas. He was known as Pa-Pa to his granddaughters who were his pride and joy, Lauren Williamson of Fort Worth, Texas, Taylor Drake of Chicago, IL and Hannah Williamson of Gracias, Honduras. Brother and Sister-in-Laws, Leroy and Ruth Fahey of Mansfield, Sister-in-Laws Doris Jean and Doris Ann of Lufkin and 100 year old Aunt Geneva Rodgers of Athens. Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother I.T. and Essie Rodgers, brothers Maurice and Jimmy Rodgers, nephews Robert Morgan, Danny Rodgers, Thomas Rodgers and Brandon Peterson.
