Johnny Jones

Johnny Woodson Jones, 86, of Venus, Texas, passed away at 12:20 A.M. on Friday, July 5, 2013 in John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Johnny was born in Blossom, Texas on January 31, 1927, the son of Sam Jones and Vetrual Bryant Jones. He married Maudie Shinn in Grand Prairie, Texas on April 16, 1975. Johnny was a retired supervisor for Vought Corporation and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include his Wife, Maudie Jones; one daughter, Darla Jones and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Johnny was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie and his son, Johnny Ray.
