Johnny Garza

John "Johnny" Garza, 75 of Burleson Tx, was called home to the Lord the 8th day of November, 2021 peacefully in his home. He was born in New Braunfels, Tx on January 3rd 1946. Johnny received his GED in 1969 while serving with the US Army in Kitzingen, Germany. He was married to Susanna Montes in the summer of 1968 on June 21st in Harlingen, Tx. Johnny gave 30 years of hard work as a Carman to the Union Pacific Railroad before retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Antique Cars Club in Burleson and had a passion for good BBQ, fishing, immaculate yardwork and his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Alvina Garza (May 24, 2012), his father, Luis Garza (Nov. 23, 1984), and his brother, Moses Garza (Dec. 31st 1982).
He is survived in death by loving wife Susanna Garza, his son John Michael Garza, and his granddaughter Colleen Garza, his 3 sisters Ruth Ybarra, Pearla Thompson, and Rosie Martinez; along with many nieces & nephews, cousins, and many other friends and loved ones that span the world who love him dearly.
