GRAND PRAIRIE -- John Howard Yarach entered the kingdom of Heaven on May 27, 2014.
Graveside service: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Memorial service: 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Trailwood Baptist Church, Grand Prairie.
John was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 6, 1932, son of Gerald Yarach and Daffney McDonnell Yarach. John grew up in New York and joined our Air Force from 1950 - 1955.
He served as a Second Lieutenant Navigator stationed in Guam. After the military, John enjoyed a 44 year career with John Morrell Meat Packers in Los Angeles, Calif. Some of his favorite things: SPORTS, the Dodgers, Lakers, Cowboys, golf, bowling, snow skiing and animals. He also loved great food and was a great chef.
Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Rena Ellen Womble Yarach; sons, Timothy Farrell Yarach, of Balwin Park, Calif., Kenneth Wayne Peck, of Cedar Hill; daughter, Lynnette Erin Yarach Lucas and husband, Michael, of Sunland, Calif.; plus in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and many dear friends.
