John Williams,

John D. Williams Sr., 87, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away at 8:43 PM on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in the Community Hospice Unit of Arlington Memorial Hospital. John was born in Emory, Texas on May 13, 1926, the son of John Samuel Williams and Jenny Daniels Williams. He married Nida Mae Howell in Grand Prairie, Texas on July 29, 1951. Survivors: include his wife of 62 years, Nida Williams of Mansfield; son, John Williams Jr. and wife, Sheila, of Cleburne; daughters, Shelley Williams of Mansfield, Jeanine Reinoehl and husband, Paul, of Arlington, Marylyn Hall and Barbara Williams, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Shane Singletary and wife, Jessica, David, John and Jim Reinoehl, David Sowell, Raymond, Dee Dee, J.J. and Paul Purdom; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Evan and numerous other great-grandchildren; great-great-grandson; sisters, Faye Frye and Nellie Lambert, both of Mansfield; nephew, Charles Williams of Mansfield. John was preceded in death by a daughter, Johnnie Sue Purdom.
