John Thomas Humphries

John Thomas Humphries, 58 yrs old of Grapevine Texas, passed away April 15, 2021. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 6, 1963. John grew up in Mansfield Texas and graduated from Mansfield High School in 1981. He attended the IECC electrical trade school where he became a journeyman electrician and later receiving his master electrician license. John married Beth Baldesweiler on May 28, 1998 in Fort Worth, Texas. They jointly owned Humphries Electrical Contracting. When not running his business, John was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved sports and the great outdoors. He spent many hours in Sweetwater at the deer lease and on Lake Grapevine fishing. John was also part of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Grand Entry staff for many years.
John is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Don Humphries; grandparents, Tom and Melba Humphries of Dublin, A.M. Red Moore of Belton and Agnes Moore of Fort Worth. He is survived by his wife, Beth Humphries; mother, Arlyne Shelton; daughter, Whitney Humphries; grand-daughter, Layla Levingston; sister, Amy Poteate (Wilmer); aunt, Barbara Winkelmeyer; uncle, David Humphries (Linda) and many cousins.
