John S. Hart

John S. Hart, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 23, 2015.
Service: 1 p.m., Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
A lifelong resident of Mansfield, he was a long-time member of Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth. He retired from LTV after 20 years as a bookkeeper. He was a veteran in the United States Army Air Corp (Air Force). His flight crew flew 50 missions over Germany during WWII.

John was preceded in death by his wife, LaVern, daughter, Jana and his parents, Charlie and Lila Hart,and three siblings, Virgie, Floyd, and Lillian.
Survivors: Children, Judy Roberts and husband, Chuck, Jane Hart and Joan Hart; grandchildren, John David Roberts and wife, Lizeth, Ben Hart, Julie Bounds and husband, Travis; and other family members.
