Jimmy Jarvis,

Jimmie Lee Jarvis Sr., 67, of Burleson, Texas, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 in Mansfield, Texas. Jimmie was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 13, 1945, the son of William Eugene and Hazel Virginia Jarvis. He graduated from TCJC with an Associate's Degree and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Marine Corps. Jimmie married Barbara Ann Cantrell in Midlothian, Texas on December 7, 1967 and was retired from the postal service. Survivors: include his Wife of 45 years, Barbara Jarvis; son, Jimmie Lee Jarvis Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Jarvis Burchfield; grandchildren, Shelby Jarvis, Jimmie Jarvis III, Gracie Jarvis, Brandon Burchfield and Tabitha Jarvis; and great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Burchfield. Jimmie was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lee Jarvis; father, William Eugene Jarvis; and mother, Hazel Jarvis Holcomb.
