MANSFIELD -- Jimmie Stewart passed away into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Jimmie was born on February 5, 1942 in Mansfield to the late Garvin and Lula Maude Stewart. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and legend to so many who loved him dearly.
Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 27th at First Baptist Church of Mansfield, 1800 E. Broad Street, Mansfield.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, August 26th at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm Street, Mansfield.
Graveside Service will be immediately following the Memorial Service at Burlway Gardens Cemetery, 400 Burl Ray, Mansfield.
Jim will be deeply missed and survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Mary Stewart; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Karen Peel; son, Paul Peel; grandchildren, Taylor Peel, Sydney Peel, Andrea and Sonny Cornelius; Brother, Jerry “Shorty” Stewart; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Linda Millsap, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and more.
