Jesus Rodriguez-Diaz

Jesus Rodriguez-Diaz, 88 of Mansfield, graduated from this life on July 11, 2023, at his home. He was born in Durango, Mexico on November 27, 1934, to Guadalupe Shannon Diaz. Jesus worked general labor in the automotive industry. He could fix anything. He once fixed his son’s car door with a shoelace, and it worked! He was very humble. He lived a simple life and didn’t need a lot of things to make him happy.
He loved his grown children and felt strongly that it was his duty and calling to take care of them until he passed. An honor he served faithfully until his last breath. He was hard-working and very religious. Always enjoyed a good meal after hours of labor and work.
His faith knew no limits.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Rodriguez, mother Guadalupe Shannon Diaz, sister Irma and brother Ignacio. He is survived by his sisters Olga and Lupe, brothers Miguel and Edward. He is survived by his sons Hugo Rodriguez (Sandra), Luis Rodriguez (Gracie), Carlos Rodriguez (Norma), daughters Araceli Rojas (Alfonso) and grandchildren David, Danny, Matthew, and Anthony Rodriguez and Gina, Adam and Sarah Rojas and Max (great grandson).

Visitation will be Sunday, July 23 at 12:00-3:00pm in the Blessing Colonial Chapel with Service to immediately follow at 3:00pm. Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm Street, Mansfield, Texas 76063
