Jessie Landers,

Jessie James Landers Sr., 78, of Britton, Texas, passed away Wednesday Dec. 19, 2012 in his home. Jessie was born in Hosston, Louisiana April 15, 1934, the son of Willie and Roberta Landers. He will be missed by family, friends and neighborhood of Britton, Texas. He leaves these loved ones behind...as follows; Wife of 22 years, Nina Landers; sister, Ethel Reene Savannah and husband Ed; four sons, Jessie Landers, Jr., Vincent Todd Landers, Jamie Todd Landers and Gregory James Landers; five daughters, Cassandra Landers, Shandanna Hawkins, Jennifer Landers, Jessie Marie Landers and Dorothy Ann Landers Howard; He also leaves behind countless grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. You will be missed as a husband, as a daddy, as a grandfather and as the Best Uncle Jessie. Thank you, Uncle Jessie, for all that you were in our lives. You will be greatly missed but take your rest and we'll see you again at the great family reunion on the other side.
