Jerry "Buddy" Foster

BURLESON -- Jerry "Buddy" Foster went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, in Burleson.
Service: 2 p.m., Saturday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m., Saturday before the service.
Jerry was born August 22, 1941, in Fort Worth, the son of Ernest and Violet Franks Foster. He married Joyce Taylor on Feb. 11, 1961, in Grand Prairie.
Jerry worked at General Motors and later retired from the City of Arlington Parks and Recreation. He was an Elder at Liberty Church in Mansfield.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Joyce; daughter, Jerri Sue; brother, Ernest, Jr. and by his parents.
Survivors: Daughter, Jennifer Ann Ray; granddaughters, Jourdin Ray and Candice Smith; five great-grandchildren; siblings, John Foster and wife, Barbara, Jodie Foster and wife, Margot, Joanna Kemp and husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Dotie Foster; many nieces, nephews and family friends.
