BURLESON- Jerri, born October 10, 1930, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Harris Methodist Hospital due to a massive stroke.
FUNERAL: Friday the 13th, 11am-12pm at Retta Baptist Church, Burleson.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday the 16th, 9:15am at The National Cemetery, Dallas.
Jerri was a member of Retta Baptist Church for 36 years and called Grandmother by most young adults, teens and children that attended. She was a wonderful Grandmother, mother, wife, aunt, cousin and example of “GO GETTER” to all.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, First husband William HurleyYoung, and three sons, Mike, Patrick and Brad Young.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Lavon Ray Means. Sons, Tim and Kurt Young. Daughter Brandi Burk. Three step children, Craig, Scott and Tami Means. Sisters, Jean Young and Betty Phillips. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, among other family members and countless friends.
