Loving Memory of Jennie McDuff
Hvtvm "Cehecares" this means "Again I will see you". Seminole have no word for goodbye Jennie Lou (Harjo) McDuff, 77, passed away Monday November 8, 2022. She was born in Holdenville OK, April 13, 1945.
She attended Chillocco Indian High School after graduation she moved to Dallas TX. In 1970 she met her husband James McDuff, married March 6, 1971. She worked as a hair model in Dallas TX, financial analyst for ARCO Oil and Gas upon retiring from ARCO worked for Seed Fab Crete. She spent first 18 years in Holdenville OK and the remainder in the DFW area, primarily in Kennedale TX. Jennie's passion was showing Great Danes and her children.
Her leisure time was spent at youth activities or ring side. She was intelligent, aggressive and ready to accept new challenges.
She is proceeded by her parents Amos Barney Harjo and Lizzie Harjo (she idolized); siblings Rose Ann Harjo, Anna Mae Bland, Tena Ruth Harjo Vernon Harjo, Bernice Alexander, Cheparney Harjo, Herman Lee Harjo, LaRue Ann Martin.
She is survived by her husband, James McDuff of Kennedale Texas; Son Walton McDuff of Arlington Texas; Grandson Ethan McDuff of Arlington Texas; Grand Daughter Ella McDuff of Arlington TX; Alice Lowe of Holdenville, Oklahoma; Christine Lovejoy of Holdenville; Noretta Bass of Killeen Texas; Mary Harjo of Oklahoma City; Oklahoma, Bonnie Smith of Sapulpa Oklahoma. Self-Appointed Daughters Jess Morrosin of Chicago; and Chree Maxwell of Arlington.
