Jeffrey Jessey Limon passed away on Saturday, December 16 in Arlington Texas. He was born on February 19, 1969 to John Jessey Limon and Linda Louis (Cunningham) Limon in Lubbock, Texas.
Jeffrey married Terri Elizabeth Brown on June 20, 1998 in Tampa, Florida at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. They were happily married for 19 1/2 wonderful years. They lived in Grand Prairie, Texas from 1998 to 2013 when they moved to Mansfield, Texas. Their home was filled with laughter, love, and lots of noise.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Terri, two daughters, Jessica and Madelyn and one son, Matthew. He also leaves behind his parents, Jessey and Linda Limon, and brother, Mark of Irving, Texas along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jeff attended Hardwick Elementary in Lubbock, Texas until his family moved to Irving, Texas where he attended TJ Lee Elementary, Travis Jr High and Irving MacArthur High School and graduated in 1987. He then attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock where he was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega-Beta Sigma Chapter. In 1997, he moved back to Irving and worked at his father’s company, JL Communications. Later, he began working with CheckPoint Software Technologies as a Product Specialist and Night Manager. For the past 3 years, Jeff worked for Zensar Technologies as a Senior Security Engineer, a job he truly loved.
Jeff loved computers, music of all kinds, and most of all, his beloved Texas Tech University Red Raiders. But even more than that, Jeff loved his family. He was a loving husband, devoted daddy and loyal son and brother. He lives on in his 3 beautiful children: Jessica who has his smile, his mathematical brain, and his love of fancy pens; Madelyn who shares his lightening quick wit, sunny personality and his love of historical facts and Matthew, who shares his love of football, less than appropriate humor, and music of all kinds (that neither of them can sing on-key!) He was the best thing that ever happened to his wife, Terri and they shared a love of travel, watching movies and most of all, their three children. He often told her that he was her “Knight in Slightly Dinged Up Armor” but to her, he was perfect. He made her feel loved and safe and she will carry his love in her heart for the rest of her life.
Jeff touched so many lives with his warm, friendly, Texas-loving personality. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
