Jeanie Marie Park

November 20, 1946 — February 25, 2021

Our beloved Mom and Momaw, Jeanie Vest Park, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Jeanie was born on November 20th, 1946 and grew up in a small town in Fort Worth. Jeanie attended Polytechnic High School where she met and later married Eddie Park. Jeanie and Eddie were married February 21, 1964 and raised three children together, Ken, Tiffany and Cobie, who were the light of their lives. Jeanie was an accomplished administrative professional in the medical field having worked for Dr. Harry Froeschke in the Mansfield office before joining the larger practice, Matlock Ob/GYN in Arlington, TX with a total of almost 30 years of service. She worked here up until just last month, and this is where she met some of her dearest and most cherished friends.
The thing most will remember Jeanie for is her zest for life, and the joy she got from taking care of everyone else. She had that contagious smile, that would light up any room she entered. Jeanie stayed very active up until a few months ago, as she enjoyed lunch and dinner dates with friends, old and new, and prided herself in being part of the group self-proclaimed as “Poly Goddesses.” This group of ladies who had attended High School together enjoyed regular outings including dining and other social gatherings.
Jeanie’s children and grandchildren were the center of her life and she has always been very involved in their lives and daily activities. As the grandchildren and great-grandchildren entered her life, she embraced being referred to a MOMAW, her dedication and love to each was never a question as she continued to participate in activities and spent most of her time with each of them. She went out of her way to make each and every one of them feel special, and never missed a birthday, holiday, or even a facetime call from them. She loved taking pictures with them and spoiling them rotten.
She will be remembered by all for her dedication to her friends and family and for being a beautiful, loving and selfless woman. Jeanie lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed attending church and worship services, shopping and dining out as much as she enjoyed a simple ice cream date with one of the great-grand kids.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Henry Vest, brothers, Timmy and Richard Vest and son, Kenneth Park.
She is survived by sister, Christy Vest Hughes, Daughters Tiffany Rogers and Cobie and Chad Coble
Grandchildren: Taylor and Jade Rogers, Dustin and Kayla Rogers, Corey Park, Dakota Park, Lindsi and Austin Nobbe, Kallie and Nolan Moore, and Katie Johnston
Great-Grandchildren: Grayson, Josephina, Brett, Tinslee Grace, Tynslee Skye, Layken and Parker
