Jazlyn Figueroa, a beloved wife and mother has passed away at the age 37 in Dallas, Texas. She was known for her dedicated service as a Family Engagement Liaison at Larson Elementary School, where she touched the lives of many students and families within Arlington-ISD.
Born August 26, 1986, Newark, New Jersey, Jazlyn later graduated from East Side High School and the later at New Jersey City University (NJCU). Her passion and her commitment to helping others shone through in every aspect of her career.
Outside of professional life, Jazlyn was a woman of many talents and interests. She was renowned for her skill in making oils and worshiping with flags, but above all, she was cherished for her profound love and unwavering devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Jazlyn leaves behind a grieving family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She is survived by her husband Daniel, daughter Janielle, son Dayln, father Rafael Martinez, sister Jessica Izaguirre, cousins Ricky Irizarry, Emma Irizarry, Christina Irizarry, and Horacio Irizarry. She is preceded in death by her mother Emma Irizarry.
A visitation in honor of Jazlyn Figueroa will be held on August 10th at Blessing Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel: 401 Elm St in Mansfield, Texas starting at 9:00 AM. Following the visitation, a Memorial Service will take place at the same location at 11:00 AM to celebrate Jazlyn's life and legacy.
Jazlyn will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she made an indelible mark on those around her with her kindness, compassion, and spirit of service.
