Jason Ross Frankum

February 19, 1970 — November 7, 2016

Jason Ross Frankum passed from this life on November 7th, 2016 due to complications from heart disease. Jason had also been diagnosed with CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) which also contributed to his untimely passing.
Jason was welcomed into this world on February 19th, 1970 to Patricia and Cecil Frankum. Jason has 2 siblings, one brother and sister, respectfully.
Jason attended both Mansfield and Trinity High Schools, where he forged many friendships that still exist to this day. He also attended University of Texas at Arlington.
Jason excelled at sports as a younger man, primarily football. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His hobbies also included Golf, boating, building model airplanes, paintball, and restoring old military rifles. He always had a knack for fixing and building things, which led to him becoming a self-taught Microsoft Certified Network Engineer in the computer field as his primary career. He was also very proficient at construction.
Jason also had a passion for music. VERY INTERESTING TASTE IN MUSIC, and if it did not cause blunt force ear canal trauma to the person(s) listening, it wasn’t loud enough.
Jason was blessed with 2 children, Mitchell Ross and Elaine Hailey Frankum.
Jason is survived by his mother, Patricia Ross Frankum of Wills Point, TX. His 2 children Mitchell and Lainey Frankum of Burleson TX. His brother Brian Frankum and wife Julie and their children, sister Julie Maxwell and Husband Ernest and their children for a total of eight nieces and nephews, 2 great-nieces and 1 great nephew.
Jason was preceded in death by paternal Grandparents, Ralph and Aileen Frankum, maternal grandparents William and Mabel Ross and Virginia Sutton, father Cecil Frankum, and nephew Joshua Frankum.
Rest in Peace, brother. We’ll take it from here….
