Janice Sue Sechrist
December 20, 1937 — July 6, 2021
Janice Sue Sechrist, 83, passed away peacefully holding her husband’s hand Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Jan loved her family dearly and regarded them as her greatest treasure. Born in Dallas, Jan graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1956.
She was one of the kindest, warmest and loving persons who loved the Lord deeply. Jan retired from a thirty-six year career in real estate in 2012 and was recognized as top producer throughout DFW.
Survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Dick Sechrist. Her son Lee and wife Sherri and their children Garrett and Stephanie. Son Blake and his wife Rebecca and their children Preston and Olivea. Also survived by two great grandchildren, nieces, cousins and extended family.
A private family service will be held Wednesday, July 21st at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas with internment at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
