James Leslie Taylor

James Leslie Taylor, 83, of Arlington, Texas, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024. 

 He was born September 16, 1941, in Mansfield, Texas. Jim graduated from Irving High School, and he received his Master of Divinity from Dallas Theological Seminary where he was valedictorian of his class. 

 He was married to his wife, Geraldine on July 7th in Irving, TX. Jim worked as a die maker in the tool and die industry for many years. He also had a passion for coin and stamp collecting. 

 Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Taylor, mother, Ruby Wochner, father, Horace Taylor, and his brother, Jerry Taylor. 

 He is survived by his son, Gerald Taylor (Barbara) of Clayton, NC, daughter, Kelly Copeland (Jeff) of Jackson, MO, grandchildren, Jordan Copeland, Jessica Jones, Samantha Myers, Christina Taylor, Sarah Gammill and Joshua Taylor. Jim is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
