James Long

James L. "Jim" Long, 73, of Mansfield, passed away at home on Friday, September 27, 2013. Jim was born and lived in Amarillo until 1989, where he worked for Pioneer Natural Gas Co. He transferred to Dallas with ATMOS Energy and retired in 1999. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in Passau, Germany, for three years where he met his wife, Roswitha Hausner. Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Roswitha Long; daughter, Christa Weatherby; son, Roger Long; grandchildren: Marshall, Preston and Isabella Weatherby, and Delaney and Aubrey Long; sisters, Arliss Dickson and Rae Dodson.
