James Richard Little, Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, in Mansfield, Texas, at the age of 77. He was born on November 7, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana, to Roy and Grace Little.
Jim was a proud graduate of Centerville High School and went on to earn an associate's degree from Sam's Technical Institute. His career was marked by significant contributions to the aerospace industry, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those he worked alongside.
Beyond his professional life, Jim embraced a diverse array of hobbies and interests. He found joy in playing softball, capturing life through his lens with photography, and expressing creativity through 3D printing. His passions not only highlighted his zest for life but also the warmth he brought to every endeavor.
Jim's spirit of service was evident as a proud Charter 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, where he contributed to his community with a heart full of compassion and brotherhood.
Family was at the cornerstone of Jim's life. He shared a beautiful marriage of 57 years with his loving wife, Theresa Barth Little. Together they raised their two sons, James Richard Little Jr. (Jasmine) and Gregory Little (Debi), who cherished their father's guidance and love. James's role as a grandfather brought him immense pride and joy, as he doted on his grandchildren, Jessica Suarez (Dalton), Zachary Little, James Richard Little III (Alexandra), Kristen Little, and Alexander Little. He also welcomed the title of great-grandfather with open arms, as he enjoyed precious moments with Amelia Suarez. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers-in-law, Logan Patterson, Ken Barth (Pat), Wayne Barth (Jeannie), and Rick Barth (Lisa), as well as his sister-in-law, Mary Barth.
Jim is reunited in eternal rest with his parents, Grace and Roy Little, and his sisters, Peggy Patterson, Sandy Mansfield, Marianne Richards, and Sheila Warren.
Jim's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him not just for his accomplishments, but for the love, laughter, and kindness he brought into their lives. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
